Sub-Irrigation

All-in-one sub-irrigation promotes a more gradual delivery of water to the plant over time.  The fully encased system leads to less spills and leaks, and the water level indicator lets you know whether to water or not.  Watering from bottom reduces the chances of water stress by over/ under watering, and promotes better aeration to the plant than top watering.  Air holes and Light Expanded Clay Aggregate (LECA) provide excellent aeration, which is just as import as moisture, and water supply.  Watering from below promotes root growth, and allows the top layer of plant medium to dry out.  Keeping the top layer dry helps to prevent a breeding ground for mold or pests.
